Yearbook, New Look

Catchy post title eh? It rhymes so I couldn't resist it! Well, this is what I wore for the yearbook photo shoot last month. But of course I did not wear this leather jacket for the shoot, instead I wore a so-called slim fit tuxedo blazer from New Look in Antwerp last winter. This might be old news but they just added menswear to their inventory last winter together with the Giles Deacon's maiden attempt in menswear. But honestly none of the Nu Rave / acid-infested hullabaloo are of my taste, so I had to pass.

Anyway the single-button blazer is of synthetic material (viscose + polyester) with satin lapel. Yet again my petit body is just not built for this type of blazer... so much for the XS tag! But it was 70% off so I had to buy it anyway. I can imagine how the yearbook photo will turn out - a sloppy blazer is simply catastrophic!

Right now I just need a good tailor to make me a decent blazer and a pair of trousers. Dinie you hear this?

Oh tell me, why do I keep clinging on to this ill-fitting sartorial atrocity?
