I've been thinking about the relevance of my fashion-related posts, the relevance of my recycled information among the sea of blogs that certainly do a far more incredible job then my half-assed attempt at publishing something - now that I'm thinking about it - remotely fashion. So maybe there would be less pretentious fashion news on DF as I'm sure you'd be reading about it much earlier on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram. In that regard, Dunia Fashyon will not be so fashyonnn in the near future.
My attention is also shifting onto the art-related fields (in general, of course - not the professional-level type) like photography, interior design - I'm now obsessed with furnishing my own bedroom. Now that I don't have to go back and fro to my quarters in Melaka, there's more time, energy and enthusiasm to focus on the room. IKEA has been my go-to destination during the recent month!).
And I've also been pondering about my next stylistic shift. Now it's safe to say that I'm more drawn towards subdued tones and design, thanks to the the tamer Uniqlo selections that have been creeping up my wardrobe. But before that allow me to publish some of the outrageous outfits that made their way into my closet, when I was still into that 'more-is-more' design philosophy. I will certainly wear these overly-designed, garishly colourful outfits now and then, because it would be such a waste not to, wouldn't it? Shuddering at the thought of the amount of moolah spent on them. That being said, I'm welcoming year 2014 with a change of outlook...

I don't think you should change the name - personally I wouldn't hold fashion to just clothes - it's a lifestyle and if your lifestyle evolves outside of clothes then so be it lar. I enjoyed reading your blog for your pov on these topics unlike the usual boring blogs who says the same thing or showcasing yet another gifted clothing or bags hence they have to say something nice or the boring obviously sponsored posts.
I recall seeing that metallic H&M shirt on the racks, and the coating was all peeling and unsightly, especially at the shoulders. Though 99% of H&M stuff are disposable, the only decently-made items are the women's coats (usually tagged as Made in Romania) that are of slightly edgy design, but they have no use in such scorching weather (and even movie theatres aren't as cold as they were before).
I vote for Uniqlo for its marginally higher quality of workmanship and no reported cases of labour exploitation. I make the garments last longer by washing and drying them in the shade.
Anyway, I think you shouldn't stop writing just because there are far more analytical fashion blogs. Simply write what you feel deeply about and let your ideas do the talking.

Anonymous: I feel fortunate that that peeling off hasn't happened to my metallic shirt yet. I'm veering towards Uniqlo too as I think their design is season-less and the colours definitely last more than few washes.
